2017 Suzuki GW250

With a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder motor mated to a six-speed transmission, the 2017 Suzuki GW250 is an over-achiever in the 250 class.

Add in all-disc brakes, modern styling, plus 17-inch wheels that accept premium rubber, and the GW250 is a small bike with lots of potential. Suzuki, perhaps optimistically, touts the GW250 as suitable for “long distance rides” and the generous 3.5-gallon fuel tank does make that possible.

There’s even room for two, though that will compromise performance considerably. A multi-function LCD instrument panel helps experienced and new riders keep apprised of important data such as speed, rev count, fuel load, and gear position.
