2011 Honda CBR 250 R | Quick Look

2011 Honda Motorcycle

Here was something fairly unexpected from Honda – a brand new sport bike powered by an oversquare 249cc single cylinder motor with a 10,500- rpm redline, the CBR 250 R.

The liquid-cooled powerplant has double overhead cams, fuel injection via a 38mm throttle body, a counterbalancer, and ABS for the single 296mm front disc.

That is an incredible amount of technology stuffed into a small package. Two things make the CBR250R very cool- the VFR1200F-inspired styling and its engine configuration is related to the new Moto3 world championship racing class.
