    Here was something fairly unexpected from Honda – a brand new sport bike powered by an oversquare 249cc single cylinder motor with a 10,500- rpm redline, the CBR 250 R.

    The liquid-cooled powerplant has double overhead cams, fuel injection via a 38mm throttle body, a counterbalancer, and ABS for the single 296mm front disc.

    Honda has just announced a new CBR600RR for 2010. The 2010 motorcycle appears to be an evolution of the 2009 and clearly with bold new graphics. The bike includes some braking performance improvements as well. This is part of American Honda Motor Company’s Powersports Division announced today and is the third new release of 2010 motorcycle models. This on-road motorcycle release follows the earlier announcements of Honda’s 2010 Fury, scooters, dirt bikes and ATVs.

    For 2010 Honda has just announced a new CBR1000RR. The new 2010 motorcycle includes updated performance improvements as well as new styling cues and graphics. This is part of American Honda Motor Company’s Powersports Division announced today and is the third new release of 2010 motorcycle models.     Jonathan Rea set the fourth fastest time in today’s opening qualifying session for Sunday’s eighth round World Superbike championship encounter at Misano in Italy, earning himself a provisional front row start.

    Along with Carlos Checa, his Hannspree Ten Kate Honda team-mate, the 22-year-old Northern Irishman spent much of this morning’s free practice session evaluating Ohlins suspension alongside WP product, which has been run by the Ten Kate team in the past.
