2011 Ducati 848 EVO | Quick Look

2011 Ducati Motorcycle

Ducati’s 848 EVO for 2011 swaps out the Testastretta’s cylinder heads, pistons, throttle bodies and camshafts, and increases power to a claimed 140 horsepower and 72.3 ft/lbs torque – more than liter-bikes of a few years ago.

Already available in Stealth Black and Ducati Red, the 848 EVO now also comes in the limited edition Arctic White with a red frame and red wheels.

Weighing just one pound less than its sibling, the 848 is devoid of the 1198’s electronic aids and OOhlins suspension.

Nevertheless, the reduced engine inertia makes it feel more nimble and the reduced power makes it more manageable, arguably resulting in a better streetbike.
