Yoshimura Suzuki Back to Superbike

2011 World Superbike

Following a disappointing weekend at Monza in 2010, during which Daisaku Sakai had an impressive number of crashes, Yoshimura Suzuki will again be back in World Superbike at the start of this season.

The Japanese team are on the provisional entry list for the opening round of the World Superbike season at Phillip Island in Australia on Feb. 27, with a wild-card slot for Australian rider Josh Waters.

Waters, 22, the 2009 Australian Superbike Champion on a Suzuki, has also won over 80 national Dirt and Long Track titles in his career and will be making his World Superbike debut in this Australian Round.
