Zero Motorcycles: European Expansion

Motorcycle News

Zero Motorcycles, a global provider in the electric motorcycle industry, today announced the expansion of its European sales and distribution operations with the addition of Swiss distributor emobility.

The new 2010 Zero X and MX models are now available for demo rides and the revolutionary Zero S and DS models are expected to arrive in July and August.

In addition to the partnership with Zero Motorcycles, emobility will be supporting popular motorcycle racer and Swiss celebrity Dominique Aegerter, as he sets out to compete in various Swiss and European motorcycle series on Zero Motorcycles’ family of products.

Swiss Racer Dominique Aegerter on a Zero MX says:"Zero Motorcycles has experienced exceptional growth throughout Europe, and expanding our sales and distribution channels to Switzerland is an integral part of enhancing Zero’s international reach," said John Lloyd, VP World Wide Sales for Zero Motorcycles.

"Our partnership with emobility will allow us to not only expand Zero Motorcycles’ comprehensive service and customer care organization, but also gives motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to demo our high performance electric motorcycles in Switzerland. We are equally proud of emobility’s racing efforts and excited to see our products in Swiss competitions."

Zero Motorcycles entered the European market in 2008 and subsequently experienced a rapid growth in demand. Starting immediately, Zero’s complete product line is available for purchase in Switzerland and the expansion is being backed with marketing, sales and service through emobility.

Interested Swiss riders can now schedule demo rides on the highly popular Zero X and MX, and in the coming weeks will be able to test ride the Zero S street motorcycle and the Zero DS dual sport model.

Emobility promotes and supports electric mobility. They are creating a better future by bringing customers mobility solutions that use the most advanced transportation technologies.

Their success originates from high-quality products that they represent and also from the cooperation of an uncomplicated marketing system, competent client service, integral product communication as well as a passion for the products and their work.

They see it as establishing new standards within the phrase ‘to be electric’ and they hope to convince everyone to ride and drive in an intelligent way.
