Scorpion introduces new women’s jacket and pants

As they say, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!" With that imperative in mind, the design team at Scorpion skipped their Summer vacation in order to make sure that the all new women’s Fury jacket and matching Hellina pants were introduced and delivered in advance of the 2010 ScorpionExoWear collection!

Part of the extensive XDR (Xtreme Distance Rider) technical riding gear series, the Fury had to be functional first and foremost, but the style element certainly wasn’t overlooked. Starting with a high- density 600 denier outer shell, the Fury was designed to beat Mother Nature at her own game! The full-sleeve EverHeat thermal liner keeps riders toasty warm in adverse conditions while the removable storm collar and waterproof/windproof inner shell pops right out when conditions are less extreme.

As riding conditions do heat up, a lightweight perforated nylon lining offers maximum airflow over the body’s core. Water-resistant upper chest and back ventilation panels further control airflow and zippered inner forearm vents add to the airstream when needed on those warm summer days.

Additional features benefiting the Fury’s versatility include ventilated ExoTec CE-approved armor at the elbows and shoulders, as well as a temper foam insert in the back protector compartment. Speaking of compartments, large waterproof storage pockets are built in front and rear and augmented by three internal pockets for additional storage. A full length 10-inch pant connector zipper across the lower back ensures the matching Hellina pant stays secure.

These pants start with the same durable 600 denier outershell material and get the EverHeat thermal liners on the inside like the Fury jacket. ExoTec CE-approved armor is added at the knees for additional security, while temper foam hip pads offer extra protection. Dual waist adjustment belts and tension straps in the leg make for a custom fit and reduce wind drag.

As for fit, both the Hellina pant and Fury jacket are available in sizes SM through 2XL. Pants come in basic black while the jackets come in a choice of black/gray trim or a high-visibility neon.

Available exclusively from Scorpion dealers,

MSRP for the Fury Jacket: $299.95 ($309.95 for 2XL sizes)

MSRP for the Hellina Pant: $159.95 ($169.95 for 2XL sizes)
