While we have always been excited about the Factory Edition motocross motorcycles from Husqvarna, 2026 is a special year. All the upgrades we’re used to seeing from the standard models are back, and they’re joined with a new feature that redefines what a Factory Edition is. Let’s see what that is, as part of our 10 Fast Facts on the 2026 Husqvarna FC 450 and FC 250 Factory Editions.

The 2026 Husqvarna FC 450 and FC 250 Factory Editions get WP Xact Pro suspension. If you were to buy the WP Xact Pro 7548 fork and 8950 shock individually, you’d be dropping about $6k at the parts counter. Now, they’re part of the Factory Edition package, yet the FC 450 version has a retail price of $12,799, and the FC 250 Factory Edition is $11,699. With the WP Xact Pro suspension, this represents an incredible bargain and practical improvement.

The WP Xact Pro 7548 fork is one of the closest things to factory-level performance that you can bolt onto a production bike. The Cone Valve design eliminates the harsh spike and cavitation that plague even the best shim-stack forks; small bumps stay plush while big hits are met with true progressive resistance that never bottoms harshly. Stiction is dramatically lower than any open-cartridge or air fork, giving immediate, precise front-end feedback that makes the bike turn sharper, hold lines in chop, and track straighter over braking bumps. Adjustability reduces the need for expensive revalving, and the fork has a reputation for durability. Set up right, the WP Xact Pro 7548 fork allows harder charging with less arm pump. This is truly a professional piece of equipment when enhanced by the WP Factory start device.

The WP Xact Pro 8950 is the single most significant handling upgrade you can make to an Austrian motocrosser. WP’s proprietary Supertrax technology isn’t quite semi-active, but it’s close. It delivers real-time low-speed rebound adjustment based on shaft speed, so the rear wheel recovers instantly after hits yet never kicks or packs in whoops. The rear tire stays planted when standard shocks would deflect, providing more traction out of corners and reliable stability on big landings. The bladder design eliminates fade and minimizes friction. The shock is hand-built to last an entire pro season.

The 2026 Husqvarna FC Factory Editions have a few detail updates. The radiator cap is now threaded, and the fuel line quick-lock system gets a fuel filter protection cap. Also, the 2026 Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing replica graphics are molded in for improved durability. The 450 gets #26 and #27 decals sets for budding RJ Hampshires and Malcolm Stewarts.

The Husqvarna Connectivity Unit Offroad is standard. This allows you to pair your bike with the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app. In addition to preset modes—Mellow and Aggressive—you can tune the motor to your liking, as well as adjust traction control, engine braking, launch control, and the quickshifter. With a front-fender-mounted GPS/GNSS sensor, you can analyze your on-track performance. The app also helps you tune the suspension to perfection.

The coveted multifunctional map selection switch is mounted on the ProTaper left handlebar. It has buttons for map selection, traction control, launch control, and the quickshifter.

There are many high-end hard parts. Poke around the 2026 Husqvarna FC Factory editions and you’ll find an FMF Factory 4.1 titanium muffler, a Factory Racing wheelset with CNCed and back-anodized hubs laced to Excel Takasago rims mounted with Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires, and Factory Racing CNC-machined offset-adjustable triple clamps.

Husqvarna outfits the Factory Editions with various parts to enhance durability and reliability. 2K carbon composite is used for the skid plate and Factory Racing front disc protector. The outer clutch cover is by Rekluse, and the final drive is an RK GB520MXU UW-Ring gold-anodized chain.

Ergonomics are upgraded on the Husqvarna Factory Edition MXers. The seat gets a Guts Factory Racing high-grip cover, while the ProTaper handlebar has soft ODI lock-on grips.

The 2026 Husqvarna FC 450 and FC 250 Factory Editions land on showroom floors next month. That’s just in time for Monster Energy Supercross season.
