Joe Rocket Heartbreaker Boots Review | Women’s Motorcycle Boots

In addition to the elastic panel at the back of the boot the will stretch up to an inch-and-a-half in the upper calf, the Heartbreaker has a two straps for adjusting the fit in the calf area.

At the top of the Heartbreaker there is a strap with a hook-and-loop adjuster that allows you to adjust the fit. Unfortunately, as a rider with small calves, the upper adjustment strap is too long and outruns the hook-and-loop strip. Women with larger calves will be fine. The lower strap uses a traditional frame-and-prong buckle to customize the fit at your lower shin and calf.

There is a removable comfort sole. True to its name, I found them best left installed. I missed the extra padding when they were removed, and I didn’t need the extra room—they provide an extra half-size of room for those who need it. I found the Joe Rocket Heartbreaker boots to be true to size.

Padding at the top front of the shin protects the vulnerable bony part of your leg, while a reinforced shift panel—symmetrically repeated on the right boot—has a good feel through the extra layer of leather. For additional foot protection, there are welcome internal reinforcements in the heel and toe areas. Double stitching on most of the Heartbreaker boots should ensure good wear.

If you’re looking for that extra couple of inches when you are riding, as well as off the bike, but prefer the stability of a flat sole on the ground, the Joe Rocket Heartbreaker women’s motorcycle boots have you covered.
