MV Agusta Turismo Veloce RC Now Available in US Dealerships

MV Agusta Turismo Veloce RC Overview

Based on the F3 series, the touring version of this lineup uses the three-cylinder 798cc engine that produces 110 horsepower @ 10,150 rpm and 60 ft/lbs of torque @ 7100 rpm.

The engine features a counter-rotating crank, which was redesigned to further reduce vibration and noise. The Turismo Veloce’s head features updated valve guides, which were redesigned to achieve improved refinement. Also, the harmonic damper and the chain tensioner ensure a reduction in mechanical noise alongside an updated gearing for the six-speed transmission.

Paired with the traditional steel-trellis frame is the new MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) electronic platform with EAS 2.0 (Electronic Assisted Shift Up & Down), along with an eight-level adjustable traction control that can be switched off.

The engine also features three engine maps: Sport, Touring, and Rain, the latter reducing engine power to 80 horsepower. The MVICS also electronically controls the semi-active Sachs suspension.

Other highlights include LED lighting, Garmin navigation system, 30-liter capacity side panniers, center stand, adjustable windshield, heated grips and cruise control.
