Kawasaki has recalled 44 of its 2012-2013 Concours 14 police-edition motorcycles due to possibly blowing a main fuse.
Kawasaki says the additional police wiring harness may chafe and lead to a short, which may blow the main fuse. If this occurs, the engine may stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Kawasaki will notify owners, and dealers will correct the electrical system problems, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Kawasaki at 1-866-802-9381. This campaign is an expansion of recall 12V-134.
