2012 Ryan Dungey KTM Wallpaper

Last weekend, Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey entered High Point Raceway in Pennsylvania fresh off a sweep at Thunder Valley, Colorado.

At Thunder Valley, Dungey gave KTM its first-ever win in the 450 AMA Motocross Championship. And when he entered High Point, Dungey was once again a dominate force aboard the KTM SX-F 450, impressing during his heat races.

But it was during the main event where he dominated, sweeping the round for four consecutive moto wins. Following High Point Motocross, Dungey now has 16 career premier-class wins, and is tied for sixth for all-time wins with MX star Jeff Emig.

Joining Dungey on the overall podium was MotoConcepts Suzuki’s Mike Alessi (2-2) and Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer (3-3).

Heading into Budd Creek, round five of 12 in the 2012 AMA Motocross Championship, Dungey now has 186 points, 42 over Alessi. In third is Weimer, who trails Dungey by 45.
