Scorpion announces women’s XDR motorcycle gear

Much more than a fashion statement, the Women’s XDR (Xtreme Distance Rider) gear is here. The Voyage jacket features a go-anywhere waterproof and breathable 600 denier outershell designed for the women who plans to ride everywhere! When combined with versatile ThermoShell inner liners, the Voyage jacket is perfect for rides in temperatures ranging from 35-degrees up through 85-degrees.

Waterproof zippered chest/sleeve vents work in conjunction with a large rear exit vent to provide maximum air flow, as does the lightweight perforated nylon lining. Externally, durable ripstop Cordura panels at the shoulders and elbows offer abrasion resistance. Further enhancing the high-speed safety aspect is a full-length back protector pocket (complete with temper foam insert) while removable Exo-Tec CE-approved ventilated armor resides in shoulder and elbow pockets.

All panels are sealed with Scorpion’s ExoStitch® seams. Speaking of tailoring, the Voyage jacket is specifically fit for female riders. Sleeve tension straps and a 4-point torso adjustment system make for an even better custom fit and help keep the sleeves from flapping in excess of triple digit speeds.

Attention to the smallest details add up to make the Voyage the ultimate travel companion for women on the road. Take for example the comfort collar, or the full 10-inch zippered pant connection. Speaking of zippers, two zippered front handwarmer pockets are augmented by two generous internal storage pockets so a lady can keep the essentials close to home!

In addition to the EXOskeletal protection offered by the XDR outerwear, women riders have also found the wind- and waterproof ThermoShell inner liners to be perfect for casual wear after the ride. Both the women’s Hybrid jacket and Fusion vest liners are wearable, crushable, adjustable and space saving thermal skins for serious riding, but don’t look like some sort of circus get-up when the ladies get off their bikes. Think of it as après ski wear for the motorcycle market.

The design brief was to provide warmth without bulk, then add a fashion coefficient – Mission accomplished. Zippered front closures, generously sized hand-warmer pockets and NightViz reflective panels front and rear further enhance functionality of these inner liners. Better yet, the whole package is covered by a comprehensive 3-year warranty! Guarantee a bon voyage for women riders with the Voyage jacket and Hybrid or Fusion liner combo.
