    The second ever staging of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix takes place this weekend and with the famous U.S. venue celebrating its 100th anniversary this year MotoGP fans are in for some great entertainment at round twelve of the FIM World Championship.

    As the riders arrived at ‘The Brickyard’ on Thursday, Italian star Valentino Rossi, Americans Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards and Spaniards Dani Pedrosa and Toni Elías all appeared in the traditional pre-GP press conference, in a packed out Indianapolis media centre.

    Honda Gresini rider Toni Elías needs to build up his confidence and get comfortable on his RC212V this weekend at round four.

    His return to the San Carlo Honda Gresini team on a factory Honda bike this year has not gone quite to plan for Toni Elías so far, with two ninth places in Qatar and Spain the best he has managed to date in 2009.

    Elías was downbeat after his frustration on home soil at Jerez and he does not expect a big step forward in terms of results this weekend at the Grand Prix de France where he will be aiming for a top ten finish.

    Valentino Rossi took his first win of the season at the Gran Premio bwin.com de España on Sunday, beating Dani Pedrosa to the line by a 2.7s margin in front of a huge Spanish crowd of more than 123,000 fans in Andalusia.

    Pedrosa led for the first half of the race having made one of his trademark strong starts from second on the grid, but Rossi took the lead with ten laps to go and did not look back there and his triumph gives him an 11 point lead in the general standings.
