For the 2010 racing season, Tommy Hayden and Blake Young will be using Renthal’s all new lightweight alloy sportbike clip-ons, grips and chainwheels on their Yoshimura tuned Suzuki GSXR1000’s.

    Pegram Ducati Superbike interview Topeka

    Foremost Insurance Pegram Ducati’s Larry Pegram completed the doubleheader sweep on Sunday, earning another victory at Heartland Park Topeka in Kansas. Larry dominated the American Superbike race on Saturday, but Sunday’s event was a close fight with Tommy Hayden that left the race win in jeopardy until the checkered flag.

    Pegram, mounted on the Ducati 1098R, was able to earn victory by just 0.333 after the two traded the lead in the late laps.

    Suzuki riders talk Superbike race 1 results Topeka

    Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Blake Young celebrated his fourth AMA Superbike podium finish of the season after capturing third place in Saturday afternoon’s race at the series’ return to Heartland Park Topeka in Topeka, Kansas. This was the series’ return to the Kansas track after an almost 20-year absence and Young made the most of the first race of the double-header weekend. The rookie Superbike rider got a good start on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki GSX-R1000 and ran in second place for several laps before settling into third.

    Team Suzuki Superbike interviews race 1 Mid-Ohio

    Mat Mladin picked up another podium finish in Saturday afternoon’s AMA Superbike race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The six-time AMA Superbike Champion charged hard through the field on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki GSX-R1000 and brought home a third-place finish. Currently, Mladin still leads the overall championship points in AMA Superbike. Joining Mladin on the podium was Jordan Suzuki’s Aaron Yates. Yates battled for the lead for much of the race before finishing an impressive second place.

    Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca announced that the 2009 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix will host three classes of AMA Pro racing slated to run at the world renowned racetrack on July 3- 5: AMA SuperSport, AMA Daytona SportBike and AMA American SuperBike.

    "We welcome some of the best American riders to grace this famed facility and look forward to the great show that they provide in great American style," said Gill Campbell, CEO/general manager of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
