The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the opening of its newest exhibit entitled "The Early Days."
The exhibit occupies a room in the lower level of the museum that was most recently dedicated to motorcycle clubs and colors.
Rod Woodruff, owner of the Legendary Buffalo Chip and purveyor of many Sturgis memories, will be featured on an episode of Car Crazy Television to air November 9. Car Crazy Television, the leading worldwide automotive enthusiast television show, visited Sturgis Bike Week this past August to get a behind-the-scenes peak of the yearly festival’s inner-workings.
Registration now open for August 3rd Legends Ride.
With sights set on raising even more money this year, the Legendary Buffalo Chip and the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce are gearing up for the second annual Legends Ride, which will take place Aug. 3, 2009, the official opening day of the 2009 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The Legends Ride is a fund-raiser for the Children’s Home of the Black Hills and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame. Last year’s event raised nearly $40,000 for charity.
