Moto2 Spoiler Alert
Round 7 of the 2011 Moto2 Championship got underway in wet conditions, but turned dry as the riders lapped the TT Assen circuit in the Netherlands.
Since every team had rain tires on its Moto2 machine(s), by the end of the Assen race the tires were worn, causing multiple crashes.

The week following the Portuguese Grand Prix in Estoril, Repsol Moto2 rider Marc Marquez underwent two additional days of testing, finely tuning the setup on his machine.
Marquez completed 80 laps on Sunday, and 70 on Monday, a total of more than 600 kilometers. His best time was 1:41.1, which was an improved time for the Spaniard.
Spanish motorcycle star Marc Marquez showed no signs of slowing as he advanced to the Moto2 class after winning the 2010 125cc MotoGP Championship.
The 18-year-old Marquez quickly adapted to the Repsol Moto2 machine, showing much progress over private winter testing.
Moto2 Valencia Test
After wrapping up a two-day test a Circuit de Catalunya in Spain earlier in the week, Marc Marquez and the Repsol Moto2 team didn’t take much time to rest.
The 125cc MotoGP champion took one day off, and then headed to Valencia Thursday to join the rest of the Moto2 grid for a three-day test, the first official session of the 2011 Moto2 year.
