    One of our most preferred Ducati gatherings is coming back again next year. So, warm up your engines and get your soul revving for the World Ducati Week 2010. The planned dates for the upcoming WDW2010 event are June 10th to 13th at the world famous Misano World Circuit in Italy. All motorcycle fans and enthusiast are welcome at WDW whether you ride a Ducati or not.

    The annual World Ducati Week event promises to be a four-days of non-stop fun.

    American rider Colin Edwards was in superb qualifying form at a baking hot Misano World Circuit today and will start from fifth on the grid in tomorrow’s San Marino Grand Prix.

    The Texas Tornado posted his fastest time – 1.35.184 – on his 27th and penultimate lap in advance of his 115th MotoGP start. With 18 minutes remaining Edwards surged from tenth to fourth, before finishing fifth just 0.3s off a front row start. Despite a cooling, Adriatic sea breeze track temperatures still hit 40 degrees at the sun blessed 4.2 km circuit on the Italian Riviera.

    Ducati North America is excited to announce the return of World Ducati Week, an exhilarating celebration of Italian motorcycle culture, set for September 2010 in Italy. The sixth World Ducati Week will be held at the Misano World Circuit on Italy’s Adriatic Coast.

    Next fall marks the return of the highly-anticipated international gathering that brings Ducatisti and two wheel aficionados of all ages together to enjoy the motorcycle event of the year.

    Misano Adriatico (Italy), Saturday 20th June: the crowds were witness to an exciting and super-fast Superpole today at the Misano World Circuit. The Ducati Xerox Team is satisfied with the results of its riders Michel Fabrizio and Noriyuki Haga who, on board their factory Ducati 1198 machines, will line up in fourth and sixth position respectively on tomorrow’s grid.

    The weather was the real star at the second day of the SBK round being held in San Marino. The rain that started on the first morning continues to fall at the Misano World Circuit, forcing the drivers to make their qualifying runs on a wet track. It rained intermittently during the afternoon, but fortunately, the track was drin time for the warm-ups and the Superpole race. Jakub Smrz, on the Guandalini team’s Ducati, managed to interrupt Spies’ monopoly, and took home the Superpole victory with a time of 1:35:435, setting a new record at the circuit in Romagna.

    Misano Adriatico (Italy), Friday 19th June: despite extremely high track temperatures that hovered around 50° all day, the Ducati Xerox riders Michel Fabrizio and Noriyuki Haga made a great start to their "home" race weekend at the Misano World Circuit and it was Michel on board his Ducati 1198 who closed today as the fastest rider out there.

    In the first free practice session earlier in the day both Michel and Noriyuki got off the starting blocks at a very quick pace and their immediate competitiveness saw them conclude the opening session near the top of the time sheets, with Fa
