Wrooom Press Ski Meeting 2010 has officially opened, a week that traditionally combines spectacle, sport and meetings with the international press in Madonna di Campiglios magnificent Dolomites. Ducati North America is delighted to announce the success of Portland’s MotoCorsa dealership as one of this year’s largest volume Ducati dealers- selling an astonishing 61 bikes in June alone. The dealership beat its own previous record for most Ducatis sold in a single month.
Going against the grain of the current economic landscape, MotoCorsa launched an initiative set out to beat the current sales record of 50, set in 2007 by MotoCorsa. "Progetto 51" began in early June with a mission to sell 51 Ducati motorcycles in the month.
Indian Motorcycle revealed two additional models- The Dark Horse and Bomber-to an excited dealer network. Fifteen Indian Motorcycle dealerships are open worldwide and representatives from each location were on hand for the first official dealership meeting June 22-24th.
Inspired by WWII aircraft, the Bomber is a limited edition Chief model and will only be available for one year. The Bomber is available in Military Green and Silver Smoke finishes. The pin-up girl tank artwork is inspired by the Bomber nose art of that era.
HOG Riding Marathon
Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members around the world logged 4,373,937 miles during the club’s second annual Million Mile Monday riding marathon.
The members set the bar pretty high after last year’s three million miles, and they are ecstatic to have exceeded that by more than 45 percent this year, said Benny Suggs, General Manager of the Harley Owners Group. But more important than the number of miles ridden is that so many of our members joined together on this special day to share the experience of motorcycling.

The Indian Motorcycle show truck packed with 2009 Indian Chiefs is on its way to the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Beach, Fla. A full range of motorcycles, apparel and accessories will be on display at the 68th Bike Week in Daytona.
