2011 World Superbike
The recovering Chris Vermeulen had his first outing on the 2011 World Superbike Kawasaki ZX-10R at Sepang on Monday. He reported feeling good, but to be fully fit for the 2011 World Superbike season, Vermeulen is restarting his exercise program at home in Australia.

Triumph Motorcycles and BE1 Racing will enter four riders in the 2010 Supersport World Championship, including French two-time world champion Sebastian Charpentier, who returns to the series following a two-year absence.
The youthful ParkinGO Triumph Factory Team will consist of British rider Chaz Davies and American Jason DiSalvo, while Charpentier will be joined by Spaniard David Salom in the ParkinGO Triumph BE1 Racing squad. All four riders will be running identical BE1 Racing-prepared versions of Triumph’s award-winning three-cylinder Daytona 675 machine.
The 848 Challenge – fifteen races, eight rounds, four world championship circuits, two overseas rounds and two thousand pounds worth of Ducati Corse Riding Gear.
Ducati UK and New Era Motorcycle Club have joined forces to launch a prestigious ‘one-make series’ based on Ducati’s stunning 848 Superbike.
The race series to be known as the 848 Challenge will be run over eight rounds, six in the UK and two in Europe incorporating four world championship circuits. Each of the UK rounds will host two races. Misano will also hold two races with Assen being a single race.
In times of war, almost everything becomes a potential weapon, and the motorcycle is no exception. Though the purposes differ, some motorcycle attributes prized by civilian riders, such as compact size, maneuverability, and light weight, have long been attractive to soldiers as well. Of course, in the early days, motorcycles weren’t entirely satisfactory.

KTM North America unveiled the two newest street models, the 2010 KTM 1190 RC8 R IDM Red Bull and 2010 KTM 1190 RC8 R Akrapovic Limited Editions, at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show December 4-6 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
After receiving positive reviews from the media following the successful launch at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in November, KTM is proud to show the bikes to the public during the Southern California IMS Tour.
