BMW Flash Projection Ad with S1000RR

BMW Superbike Ad

Innovative in every way possible, BMW has taking advertising in a new direction; the German company created an ad that "burns" their lettered-logo into the minds of people at the cinema.

But what’s best is they use former BMW Motorrad World Superbike rider Ruben Xaus aboard a S1000RR for the actual ad/commercial. This ad is displayed here on this YouTube video. First some techies at BMW discuss the actual ad, then they show it.

In the ad, Xaus discusses why he races superbikes like the BMW S1000RR, and the BMW logo is "burned" into the viewers eyes every time the S1000 RR flashes it’s lights (microseconds).

This is a new way of advertising, using how the human eye reacts to bright light. The technique is explained in the YouTube video.

When viewing the actual ad/commercial that features Xaus on the S1000RR, make the ad full screen on your computer.
