Road to Laguna Seca
Click video to ride along on Pacific Coast Highway #1 from Hearst Castle through the Big Sur area and to the Laguna Seca Raceway. This stretch of the California coast is filled with rocky embankments jutting into the clear blue waters of the Pacific and sea lions and other marine life playing in the coves and on the beaches.
Big Sur is arguably one of the best ways to appreciate the natural wonders of the western coast. While the final destination of Laguna Seca is a treat for all motor sports fans and enthusiasts. Enjoy the ride.
California Central Coast
At this juncture in my life I have had the privilege of riding motorcycles in Italy, the UK, extensively through Spain, and equally good measure in South Africa-not to mention a good number of the States here in America. And I have to say, I traveled thousands of miles, endured hours of flights and logistics, just to discover how beautiful my own backyard is. Of course isn’t that how so many mantras go in life? We go looking for things only to discover they were right in front of us.
At play we were, making a nimble game of the myriad turns of Highway 1, snaking up the coast of California, the Pacific Ocean our loyal accomplice, steadily reeling in our destination: Big Sur. We were aided and abetted in our escape from the city by two very capable sport touring motorcycles, the Honda Interceptor and Triumph Sprint ST.
