For our British readers, Saturday, August 30, is something of an Anglo-American event at Ace Café London.
That’s the date for the All-American Cruise-in & Corvette Special. That part of the day’s festivities runs from 4 to 8 p.m.
From 7 to 11 p.m., the Ace hosts its regular monthly Rhythm ‘n’ Cruise Rockin’ Record Hop with DJ Jimmy Guntrip. There will be door prizes from 4 to 11 p.m. as well.
Among the prizes to be had are a pair of tickets to attend Santa Pod’s annual FIA Drag Racing Finals, as well as copies of UK Rock n’ Roll and Vintage Rock magazines.
In addition, there is the recently launched “Rockin’ Wheels & Chicks” 2015 events calendar, plus tickets to attend the cafe’s annual Billy Fury Tribute Night, to be held on Saturday, October 11, featuring Pete Hutton & The Beyonders and DJ Flat Top Dave.
Spend £5 or more over the counter from 4 p.m. and receive a raffle ticket. Drawing to be held at 9 p.m.
