2012 KTM Adventure Rider Rally

The 9th Annual KTM Adventure Rider Rally in Bend, Ore., may be three months away, but the hype is already beginning.

In KTM’s latest video, the “Ready to Race” manufacturer previews the September event with eight-time national enduro champion Mike Lafferty and Ride Orange Manager Mark Hyde.

During the video, the Lafferty and Hyde pilot KTM 990 Adventure motorcycles, scouting out the areas that will be used during the 2012 KTM Adventure Rider Rally.

KTM says the event, which runs Sept. 14-16, provides riders of all skill levels an opportunity to ride with and learn from adventurers all over the world.

The KTM Adventure Rider Rally is designed for KTM 640, 690, 950 and 990 Adventure and Enduro owners but is open to riders on all brands of street-legal motorcycles.

For those who pre-register, they will receive a reduced rate and free t-shirt.
