2012 Harley-Davidson 72 Wallpaper

Harley-Davidson recently unveiled its newest creation, the Seventy-Two, a retro-styled Sportster.

With its metal flake paint and lean styling, this Sportster taps into the fads of the 1970s, although the name arrives from Route 72, or Whittier Boulevard, a famed cruising street in Los Angeles.

The Seventy-Two XL1200V is powered by a 1200cc V-Twin engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), the motor making 73 ft. lbs. peak torque at 3500 rpm.

But this Seventy-Two is more about styling, which arrives from a classic, 2.1-gallon peanut gas tank, chromed lace wheels, ten-inch ape hangers, a round air cleaner with a dished cover, and a solo seat decked out in 70s-era upholstery.

Attached above is some of the best studio shots of this new Harley creation, which make for some great wallpaper; for a preview of the H-D Seventy-Two, click here.
