2011 MotoGP Wallpaper

During a low-side in morning warm-up for the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, Round 4 of the 2011 MotoGP Championship, Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jorge Lorenzo sustained a minor injury to his finger.

But regardless, Lorenzo still piloted his Yamaha YZR-M1 to a fourth-place finish, which helped extend his 2011 MotoGP Championship lead. The Spaniard Lorenzo now has 78 points, 12 points of Sunday’s winner Casey Stoner (Repsol Honda) with 14 rounds remaining.

This wallpaper highlights the Yamaha rider’s efforts in Le Mans.

Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP) says: “I think the race has been good in general for us and the results and points are good for the Championship. Obviously I would like to fight with Casey and the other best riders for victory but at this moment it’s really hard. What I can do is try to finish with the best result possible, take the maximum from our bike as it is now and wait for future improvements.”
