2011 USGP Glen Helen Motocross Schedule

FIM Motocross

This weekend, the United States Grand Prix takes place at Glen Helen Raceway, California. The FIM Motocross events begin Thursday, May 12, with amateur motocross, and finish up Sunday, May 15, with MX1 and MX2 races.

USGP Thursday, May 12, 2011

  • 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. / AMA Thor Cup Amateur MX Championship Practice/Race: Classes 250F, Jr. Vet, 65cc, 50cc, Supermini, College, Vet +30, Schoolboy, Seniors +40 – (all skill levels)
  • 3-7 p.m. / Press Conference/Meet and Greet
  • 5-6 p.m. / Autograph Session

USGP Friday, May 13, 2011

  • 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. /AMA Thor Cup Amateur MX Championship Practice/Race: Classes: 450F, 85cc, Women, 150cc, Super Senior +50 (all Skill Levels)

Saturday, May 14, 2011

  • 8:40 a.m. / FIM Veteran Motocross World Cup First Practice
  • 9:30 a.m. / USGP MX2, MX1 Free Practice starts
  • 11:15 a.m. / USGP MX2, MX1 Pre-Qualifying Practice starts
  • 3 p.m. VMX Race #1
  • 4 p.m. / MX2 Qualifying Race
  • 5 p.m. / MX1 Qualifying Race

  • 8:30 a.m. / VMX Warm Up starts
  • 9 a.m. / MX2, MX1 Warm Up starts
  • 10 a.m. / VMX Race # 2
  • Noon / MX 2 Race #1
  • 1 p.m. / MX 1 Race #1
  • 2:53 p.m. / MX 2 Race #2
  • 3:53 p.m. / MX 1 Race #2

Fans can also catch the racing action online at mx-life.tv for just $7.13 (€5.00). Youthstream will be broadcasting the races live online for four hours on Saturday and five hours on Sunday.
