AFX Debuts FX-72 & FX200 Half-Helmets

Motorcycle Helmets

AFX has introduced two new beanie-styled street bike half-helmets–the FX-200 and the FX-72–for motorcycle riding.

The AFX FX-200 utilizes a fiberglass-reinforced plastic shell, which AFX describes as "lightweight and super strong."

The street motorcycle helmet features patented dual drop-down inner lens system that includes a clear shield for nighttime riding and a smoke shield for daytime riding.

"This means you never need to change out shields to suit riding conditions or ride without eye protection," according to AFX.

The anti-microbial nylon liner is hypoallergenic and AFX tells us that that "ear cover pads are super comfy." Available sizes are XS to XXL, with both solid and graphic designs available for the FX-200, which his DOT-approved.

With a shell made of thermoplastic poly-alloy, the FX-72 motorcycle helmet has many of the same features as the FX-200, but at a lower price.

It includes the dual drop-down inner lens system, the hypoallergenic liner made of anti-microbial nylon, and comfortable ear pads.

Also like the FX-200, the FX-72 uses a D-ring system with a button snap to secure the helmet on your head. The FX-72 comes in sizes XS-XXL and it comes adorned in graphics, or in solid colors.

The all-new AFX FX-72 beanie-style half-helmet retails in motorcycle dealers for a suggested price of $69.95 to $74.95 while the also-new AFX FX-200 beanie helmet goes for a suggested retail price of $89.95 to $94.95.
