    The sole Suzuki rider in 2011 World Superbike, Michel Fabrizio, had his blog debut this week on the Suzuki Racing website. Fabrizio currently has 74 WSBK points after four of 13 rounds.

    Due to poor weather at the first official test of the 2011 World Superbike season at the Autodromo do Algarve in Portugal, Suzuki Alstare and the WSBK team’s sole rider Michel Fabrizio didn’t get too much work completed.

    But regardless, Fabrizio says he’s upbeat about the upcoming 2011 WSBK season, feeling comfortable on the GSX-R1000.

    The Ducati Xerox World Superbike (SBK) Team and riders Noriyuki Haga and Michel Fabrizio travel home tomorrow having participated in a two-day test session at the Valencia circuit, back to back after last weekend’s Portimao testing.

    Yesterday, a combination of very low temperatures and pouring rain unfortunately prevented the Ducati Xerox riders from exiting on track; conditions were just not favourable enough to be of use to the team.

    The new year got off to a very positive start for Ducati Xerox rider Michel Fabrizio, who was today invited to Rome’s Campidoglio, or town hall, for a very special reason. The 25-year old World Superbike competitor was awarded a prize by the Mayor of the city, Gianni Alemanno, for his noteworthy contribution to the world of sport and results achieved during 2009.
