2026 Denver Supercross Fantasy Picks and Tips: 7 Fast Facts

The penultimate round of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series is here, and two riders continue to control their own destiny: leader Ken Roczen and runner-up Hunter Lawrence. While there is very little wiggle room for either rider going into Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Roczen’s four-point lead over Lawrence could be pivotal. So, fellow RMFantasySX players, let’s get started with the 2026 Denver Supercross fantasy picks and tips.

2026 Denver Supercross Fantasy Picks and Tips: Ken Roczen
Ken Roczen.
  1. Barring a catastrophic ride by Hunter Lawrence or Ken Roczen, it’s clear what needs to be done with two rounds to go. If the duo trade wins and P2s, Roczen is the 2026 Supercross Champion. Lawrence’s requirements are simple. Lawrence must win twice to guarantee the crown. If Roczen wins in Denver, he can arrive at Salt Lake City needing only a P2 finish. Should Roczen take P2 in Denver and Lawrence wins, it will be winner-takes-the-title in Salt Lake City.
2026 Denver Supercross Fantasy Picks and Tips: Cooper Webb
Cooper Webb.
  1. Cooper Webb has a very outside chance of grabbing his 4th Supercross Championship. It will require Roczen and Lawrence to each have a zero-point night at one of the last two rounds. Should that happen, Webb can win the title with a P2 in a round where Roczen and Lawrence go scoreless, and then win the round where Roczen and Lawrence score points. If Roczen and Lawrence score no points in different rounds, Webb will have to win both. Again, these scenarios do not include other bad rides and assume the three riders will be in the top three. Although it’s highly unlikely, Webb does have a plausible path to victory.
2026 Denver Supercross Fantasy Picks and Tips: Hunter Lawrence
Hunter Lawrence.
  1. Picking a winner comes down to your view of the riders’ motivations. Roczen has the momentum, with four wins in the last five rounds. Roczen will leave Denver with at least a seven-point lead over Lawrence if he wins. That would mean Roczen could finish as low as P4 in Salt Lake City and win the championship, as they would be tied on points and Roczen would have the most round-wins tiebreaker. Realistically, Lawrence and Webb are in must-win situations. Since Lawrence’s last win in round 13 at Nashville, he has gone 6-3. Webb has just one win on the year, a victory in Houston at round 4.
Joey Savatgy

  1. Roczen’s momentum looks unstoppable. With that, I have Roczen to win. Webb has been in P2 the last three rounds, and I expect that to continue. Webb will dog Roczen and hope for an error. Lawrence has two P3s in the last four rounds, and has been above P3 only once in the last five rounds. That puts him in P3 on my card, as no other rider looks likely to crack the top three. Should my prediction prove accurate, Roczen will breeze into Salt Lake City with an 11-point advantage. Webb will be eliminated from title contention.
Chase Sexton
  1. Joey Savatagy has emerged as a top-five rider. He has gone 5-4 in the last two rounds, and no one is close to that sort of consistency. I am picking him to take P4 in Denver.
Justin Cooper.
  1. For the last top-five finisher, you’ll have to pick someone unpredictable. Sexton has a 2-22-4-4-7 streak going. Cooper is 4-2-7-3-13 over the same stretch. Justin Hill’s 8-14-5-8-5 is also worth taking a look at. Sexton and Cooper are the most likely, and I like Sexton’s 4-4 run in the dry. So, Sexton is my P5 pick, with Cooper the next best choice, and Hill an outsider pick.

Justin Hill.
  1. The Wild Card is P7, which makes things interesting. If you look at my top-five prediction, you will accurately deduce that I have Hill in P7. You can also put Cooper or Sexton in that slot, as they lack consistency. Shane McElrath was P6 in the Philadelphia mud, though Weather Underground predicts no rain during the Denver racing. Malcolm Stewart was P7 the week before in Cleveland, and not a bad pick. Outside of those riders, you’re getting highly speculative.
