Crafted by Kraus Motor Co., this custom Indian Chieftain PowerPlus, built for 2016 to 2018 UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt, has riding as well as style in mind. Kraus Motor Co. utilized billet aluminum, carbon fiber, and handcrafted parts to enhance the Chieftain PowerPlus, enhancing its handling and power while imparting a sharp, aggressive look through a combination of matte black and gold accents.

Satya Kraus, the company’s founder, tells us that the goal was to create a bike that performs as fiercely as Garbrandt fights. While Kraus Motor Co. products dominate the build list, Kraus wasn’t afraid to access premium contributions by other customizers and performance parts from the likes of Brock’s Performance, Fab28, Klock Werks, and Öhlins.
“We focused on function—parts that make a real difference when you ride,” Kraus said. “Working with Cody and Indian let us test new components and rethink the Chieftain’s potential. It’s raw, fast, and built for the street.”
Garbrandt, known for his intense UFC fighting style and nicknamed “No Love”, was hands-on during the build. “I was like a kid on Christmas and couldn’t wait to get on the bike,” Garbrandt recalls. “I rock a lot of Kraus products on my other bikes and just know that those guys are riders, through and through. It’s one of the best days of my life to be able to have a bike that’s built by them that I’m going to ride and really enjoy. Getting on it, I was just super impressed. I mean, I had my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. I don’t think I’ve smiled that much on a bike.”
“We designed this bike not only to represent what’s possible, but to help define what’s next,” said Kraus. “It was about pushing the boundaries of performance and design and creating parts that riders can actually use and feel the difference. Partnering with Cody and Indian Motorcycle gave us the chance to prototype new components and rethink what a Chieftain can be. This bike is just a straight street ripper. There’s no BS. There’s no glossy paint. There’s no fancy this or that. It’s classy, but it’s mean, and it’s all about business.”
