The new Aprilia Racing RSV4 X-GP is a limited-edition motorcycle celebrating a decade of the RS-GP’s presence in MotoGP. Only 30 units of this track-only bike will be produced. The price is €90,000, delivered Ex Works at the Aprilia factory in Noale, Italy.
The RSV-4 GP is the fifth iteration of Aprilia’s exclusive X series, which began with the RSV4 X in 2019 and continued with the Tuono X, RSV4 X Trenta, and RSV4 X ex3ma. According to Aprilia, the X is a reference to Roman numeral 10, and the X models are “the absolute top tier anyone could desire for a bike available to the general public in terms of technology and performance.” Not street legal, it is intended exclusively for track use.
The RSV4 X-GP closely mirrors the RS-GP25, Aprilia’s current MotoGP bike, particularly in its aerodynamic design. Its wings feature technologies patented by Aprilia Racing and debuted on the RS-GP25 earlier this year. The bike also incorporates ground-effect aerodynamics, where the fairing’s shape reduces air pressure beneath the bike when leaned, generating downforce. This results in five times the vertical load on straights and triple the load when cornering compared to the standard RSV4, according to Aprilia Racing, improving precision and reducing front lift. All fairings are crafted from carbon fiber by PAN Compositi in Modena, Italy, using MotoGP-grade processes.
The structural carbon seat support subframe from PAN Compositi integrates aerodynamic, structural, and design elements through a lightweight sandwich structure carbon layup. This enhances rear-end dynamics, giving riders a direct connection to the tire’s performance.
The chassis uses Aprilia’s familiar twin-spar aluminum frame with competition-ready Öhlins suspension. An FKR pressurized-cartridge fork is matched with a TTX piggyback shock that is fully adjustable, including for length.
The Brembo braking system includes a 19×16 front master cylinder, GP4 MS billet calipers with Z04 pads, and 5.5-inch T-Drive brake discs. The rear brake uses a nickel-plated caliper. The bike rolls on forged-magnesium wheels by Marchesini with Pirelli World Superbike slicks—125/70 CS-1 front, 200/65 SC-X rear—mounted.
Powering the Aprilia Racing RSV4 X-GP is the company’s flagship 1099cc, 65-degree V4 tuned to World Superbike specs. It produces 97 lb-ft of torque at 11,000 rpm, 239 horsepower at 13,500 rpm, and the redline kicks in at 14,100 rpm. Oversized WSBK-spec radiators for the coolant and oil keep the engine temperature under control in the harshest conditions.

These numbers are achieved thanks to premium intake and exhaust systems are also premium. The RSV4 X-GP is fitted with an SC-Project MotoGP-style titanium exhaust for maximum performance and a competition-ready sound. The motor has a higher compression ratio, a Sprint Filter racing air filter, race-spec intake trumpets, and an STM dry clutch. Power is transmitted via an RK 520 chain, with a lightweight PBR front sprocket and titanium rear sprocket.
The Aprilia Racing APX ECU, derived from World Superbike Championship-winning technology, offers adjustable traction control, engine braking, and wheelie control for each gear, along with a built-in GPS for data analysis.
Impressive details abound, including carbon fiber fenders, a Jetprime racing button cluster, graphics inspired by the RS-GP25, and Spider billet aluminum components—including adjustable footpegs, clutch lever, fuel cap, and guards. A numbered steering plate highlights the RSV4 X-GP’s exclusivity.
The Aprilia Racing RSV4 X-GP comes with a Yashi laptop preloaded with ECU management software, IRC thermal tire covers, titanium front and rear stands, a floor mat, and a cover. Tech-minded buyers will appreciate that the proof of authenticity is a dedicated NFT.
The RSV4 X-GP is available exclusively in Europe through online reservations on the Aprilia website. Buyers who take delivery at Aprilia’s Noale Racing Department will get a tour of the facility. Be prepared to wait 80 days for delivery, and make a bank transfer of half of the purchase price, including VAT, at the time of order.
