Victory Sponsors Urs Erbacher in European Drag Racing

For the second-straight year, Victory Motorcycles will partner with six-time FIA European Drag Racing Champion and renowned European custom bike builder, Urs Erbacher.

Victory will be the Switzerland-based drag-racing team’s sponsor, just as it did last season when Erbacher’s dragster finished third overall in the standings.

“It’s great to have Victory Motorcycles back on the race car this year,” said Erbacher. “I’m very fortunate to work with such a stellar company both at the racetrack and also in my motorcycle shop.”

Victory Motorcycles logo will be featured on Erbacher’s dragster at the following FIA European Drag Races:

• The Swedish Internationals in Sweden on June 5-7, 2015
• The Nitrolympx in Germany on August 7-9, 2015
• FIA Finals in England on September 4-6, 2015

Erbacher will also represent Victory Motorcycles at two of the biggest bike shows in Europe:

• The 20th Anniversary Chambley Drag Power Show in France on May 2-3, 2015
• European Bike Week in Austria on September 8-13, 2015.

Erbacher – a registered Victory Motorcycles dealer, is also working closely with the Minnesota-based manufacturer on a new concept that will be unveiled in November.

In other drag-racing news, back in January Victory Motorcycles announced that it had entered a factory effort into the 2015 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Drag Racing Series with two-time Champion Matt Smith.
