GlobeRiders Tips from the Road

On a recent GlobeRiders “African Adventure” tour, one of the riders admitted to a fault that caused much trouble on his BMW R1150GS – he forgot to install the Touratech Oil Cooler Guard he recently purchased.

And 16 days into the trip, his unprotected oil cooler was punctured by a rock, spewing oil on the bike and rider. Well, lucky he was riding with the founder of GlobeRiders and author of the famed book “10 Years on 2 Wheels,” Helge Pedersen.

Besides reminding viewers the obvious importance of an oil cooler guard, Helge provides some tips on repairing one out on the lonely roads that adventure motorcyclists usually travel.
