2012 AMA Pro Racing Schedule

For the 30th consecutive year, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will host a round of AMA Pro Racing.

The 2.4-mile circuit in Lexington, Ohio, crenewed its contract with AMA Pro Road Racing for the 2012 season, the event taking place July 13-15.

With Mid-Ohio on the calendar, there are now eight tracks confirmed for 2012 AMA Pro Racing, which will run four series in 2012: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com Supersport and AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series.

Following are the tracks that have renewed for 2012: Daytona, Infineon, Miller Motorsports Park, Road America, Barber Motorsports Park, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Laguna Seca and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

AMA Pro Racing reports its working with M1 Powersports for an additional three events, which will be released shortly, making for 11 rounds in 2012.

Following is the schedule so far:

  • Daytona International Speedway: March 15-17
  • Infineon Raceway: May 4-6
  • Miller Motorsports Park: May 25-28
  • Road America: June 1-3
  • Barber Motorsports Park: June 24-26
  • Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course: July 13-15
  • Laguna Seca: July 27-29
  • New Jersey Motorsports Park: Sept. 7-9
