GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia had quite a yea in the AMA Supercross 250cc Championship. In fact, he has his best year ever.

The Honda CRF250R pilot clinched the 2011 Lites East Championship in May, and although he raced most of the series with a broken wrist, he still finished on the podium for every race, including three wins en route to his first-ever AMA Supercross title.

With seven rounds of 12 complete so far in the 2011 AMA Motocross Championship, Barcia hasn’t had the luck of his SX season; he currently is seventh in the overall MX Championship with 152. Barcia also broke his nose during a wreck at Round 7 in Spring Creek MX.

Attached is an interview with Honda’s Barcia, as he discusses his Supercross Lites Championship title and his career so far.
