Isle of Man TT: Guy Martin Practice (Video)

2011 Isle of Man TT

After posting the second-fastest Superbike time Wednesday for the 2011 Isle of Man TT, Guy Martin says he’s feeling confident in his riding aboard the Relentless Suzuki GSX-R1000.

Martin posted a best lap time over the first three days of IOMTT practice (Monday-Wednesday…Thursday’s was canceled due to oil on the track) of 129.333 mph, just a bit slower than Padgetts Honda’s Bruce Anstey, who posted a 129.695.

Martin’s fastest time came Wednesday, and the first attached video shows Martin on the Mountain Course that day. The second video shows Michael Dunlop trailing Martin.

Practice continues today (Friday), ahead of the first six-lap IOMTT Dainese Superbike race on Saturday.

Guy Martin (Relentless Suzuki GSX-R1000 IOMTT Superbike) says: "I’ve enjoyed this week getting back out on the TT Circuit and I feel comfortable and confident on the TAS Racing bikes; everyone is doing their job and we’re happy, so let’s hope it all comes together on Saturday."
