2011 Superbike Qualifying Results
In AMA Superbike qualifying at Infineon Raceway, Calif., to no real surprise, Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider, and current champion, Josh Hayes put the YZF-R1 on Pole with a best lap of 1:35.717.
Tommy Hayden and Blake Young will line up next to Hayes with a strong front row showing for Rockstar Makita Suzuki.
Steve Rapp put his BMW S1000RR on the lead spot of row two. Lining up next to him is Martin Cardenas on the M4 Suzuki, David Anthony (also on a Suzuki), which are sandwiched between another BMW, ridden by Larry Pegram, who rounds out the second row.
Leading row three is yet another BMW, this one ridden by Chris Peris of Team Iron Horse BMW. Next him is Geoff May on the Erik Buell Racing Buell1125R. Jeremy Toye brought his San Diego BMW Racing/Lees Cycle S1000RR in for 11th, and Roger Hayden rounds out row three aboard his national Guard Suzuki.
