‘I Am Number Four’ Ducati 848 Cameo

Motorcycles in Movies

Ducati has been the mainstream motorcycle of Hollywood for some time now, with actors like Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz aboard a Hypermotard 1100 in "Knight and Day," and Shia LaBeouf aboard a Streetfighter S and Ducati Desmosedici RR in "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps."

And now the Ducati 848 got a turn on the Silver Screen. In the recently released "I Am Number Four," the Aussie actress Teresa Palmer rides an 2010 Ducati 848 sportbike in the film. In "I Am Number Four," Palmer, who is "Number Six," flees from somebody on the Ducati 848.

According to IMDB, "John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed … he is Number Four."

Attached is a trailer of the movie, "I Am Number Four."
