Chicago IMS: Ultimate Bike Builder Winners

Troy Kyne took a surprising win at the 2011 edition of the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Chicago Feb. 10-12.

Kyne competed against the previous week’s winning bike in Minneapolis from Dana Hallberg, a strong entry from Dave Dupor of DD Custom Cycle LLC and the 2009 AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building Champion, Dave Cook.

The 2010 Predasaurus Curve was built by Troy in his garage and it slew all comers.

Bob McAreavey took his second win of the year with his sano 2001 H-D Fatboy. To date he has one $6,000 in prize money and over $1,000 is prizes.

Jason Cleghorn’s 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 built by Josh Lee of JDA Customs took top honors in the highly competitive Performance Custom class.
