The 2011 Ducati MotoGP bikes were unveiled at Wrooom in Italy on Wednesday, with the most attention gathered around the Number 46 GP11 of Valentino Rossi.

The Ducati GP11 that Rossi will compete on during the 2011 MotoGP Championship features individualized fairings, which were personalized by world-renowned artist Aldo Drudi, founder of Drudi Performance.

The Desmo has the typical Ducati red, but also features some of the iconic yellow Rossi is known for on the tailpiece.

On Tuesday at Wroom, Rossi discussed his initial impressions of the Ducati Desmosedici, his recovering shoulder and the upcoming MotoGP season.

The Italian, who switched from Yamaha to Ducati after the 2010 MotoGP season, began with a discussion of the GP11, which he called the "proper prototype" with a "different concept from the Japanese factories."
