AMA Sportbike: Herrin at Barber | Video

AMA Daytona Sportbike

Here’s a video created by Shift Racing, showing clips of Josh Herrin at the final round of AMA Daytona Sportbike at Barber Motorsports Park, Alabama, the last weekend in September.

The rider of the No. 8 Team Graves Yamaha was in contention for the 2010 AMA Daytona Sportbike Championship, but lost out to this year’s winner Martin Cardenas.

After some extremely tight racing, the 20-year-old Herrin finished third in race one and second in race 2. Cardenas took both races.

Before the final round in Alabama, Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A. and Graves Motorsports announced that Herrin re-signed with the team for the 2011 and 2012 racing seasons.

Herrin just completed his fourth season on the Graves Motorsports prepared R6, and finished the championship in third behind Geico Suzuki rider Danny Eslick and championship winner M4 Suzuki rider Cardenas.
