2011 Isle of Man TT
One of the fan’s favorite for the 2011 Isle of Man TT, Guy Martin, was forced to retire on lap 5 of Saturday’s Dainese 6-Lap Superbike TT.
The reason? Martin lost battery charge on his Relentless Suzuki GSX-R1000. And he was in contention for his first possible Isle of Man TT win Saturday before breaking retiring at Hillberry on the penultimate lap.
Team Cycle World
Cycle World, America’s leading motorcycle media brand, has competed on the racetrack since the magazine’s inception in 1962. This tradition continues in 2011 in AMA Pro Road Racing with Team Cycle World Attack Performance Kawasaki rider JD Beach and AMA Pro Flat Track with Associate Editor Mark Cernicky.
Two-times TT winner Steve Plater is still hoping to visit the 2011 Isle of Man fuelled by Monster Energy, despite suffering a broken arm.
The 2009 TT champion was expected to the travel to the Island on Monday to support his Honda TT Legends teammates John McGuinness and Keith Amor.
