It’s here—the final round of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series. The 2025 Budds Creek National will be anticlimactic this year, as both the 450SX and 250SX titles have been determined. There’s also very little to fight for in the 450SX standings. However, some changes in the seeding for the 2025 SuperMotocross Playoffs are possible. Regardless, RMFantasyMX leagues are still happening, and there are prizes to be won. So, let’s look at our 2025 Budds Creek motocross fantasy picks.

- The gaps in the top five are big, so expect everyone to slot into place and ride around safely. Jett Lawrence has clinched the title. Hunter Lawrence’s P2 is safe thanks to his 45-point lead over Eli Tomac. Tomac is a solid 15 points clear of Justin Cooper, who, in turn, is 21 points ahead of R.J. Hampshire. None of these riders wants to jeopardize their readiness for the SuperMotocross Playoffs. Hunter is 15 points behind Malcolm Stewart in the chase for P5 in the seedings, so Hunter will want to collect his 44 points for two P2s behind his brother and hope for the best.

- With business as usual, there shouldn’t be any surprises at the top. The podium will look familiar—Jett, Hunter, and Tomac. They have gone 1-2-3 in that order three times this year, including last week at the Unadilla National. Any other choice is purely speculative.

- R.J. Hampshire has had the measure of Justin Cooper for a while. Hampshire has beaten Cooper in the overall results at the last four rounds, so don’t expect that to change. That puts Hampshire in P4 and Cooper in P5. There is a possibility that Hampshire will push for more. Hampshire is 22 points behind Justin Barcia in the SMX Playoffs seedings, and with a good enough finish, he could move up to P9. That would give Hampshire one more point to start the SMX Playoffs, though that’s not a huge motivator—behind healthy is much more important than a single point.

- The Wild Card is P8, and there are two nominees for the position. Stewart is 8-6-12-8-7 in the last five rounds. Barcia has gone 9-7-5-7-9-8 since his return. Barcia gets the slightest of nods here, though either is a great choice.

- The 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series finale is on the East Coast. That means setting the alarm if you’re a West Coaster. Race Day Live streams at 7 a.m. PDT, with the first gate dropping three hours later. This is also your last chance to take a look at our 2025 Pro Motocross Television Schedule.
