Over the Father’s Day weekend, the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship headed to Mechanicsville, Md., for round five at Budds Creek MX Park.

And following dominating performances in both motos, Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey extended his winning streak to six consecutive races in three rounds.

Dungey opened the Budds Creek round up with the fastest qualifying times, a moment he was able to carry over into moto 1; during the first moto, the Minnesota native would win by 43 second over Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle. Tickle’s teammate Jake Weimer would take third.

During the second moto, Dungey wouldn’t get into the lead until the third lap, but once out front he was again untouchable. Dungey would win ahead of Tickle, with MotoConcepts Suzuki’s Mike Alessi in third.

In the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett ended the two-race run of GEICO Honda by emerging victorious for his second win of the season and solidifying his place stop the standings.

Attached above are video highlights of Budds Creek Motocross.
