Sunrise and Fort Lauderdale Bruce Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson hosts anniversary Poker Run and Blessing of the Bikes
Bruce Rossmeyer’s Sunrise and Fort Lauderdale Harley-Davidson hosted an Anniversary Poker Run and annual blessing of the bikes on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 in celebration of Sunrise’s five year anniversary and Fort Lauderdale’s ten year anniversary.
Riders collected poker cards at each participating location which entered them for a chance to win a $500 grand prize.
The Run kicked off at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Sunrise Harley-Davidson (201 International Parkway) where riders collected their first card and participated in a blessing of the bikes performed by Reverend Michael Griffith who individually blessed each bike and provided riders with a commemorative sticker.
Following the blessing, riders departed to the second destination, Flanigan’s in Davie (2190 South University Drive). They then rode to Sandbar in Fort Lauderdale (900 Sunrise Lane) and Bruce Rossmeyer’s Fort Lauderdale Harley-Davidson (2871 North Federal Highway).
The Run concluded at Chit Chat’s in Pompano Beach (651 North Federal Highway) where riders enjoyed a hog roast BBQ, live entertainment, special giveaways and the announcement of the $500 grand prize winner.
