Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Tommy Hayden and Blake Young will be on Pit Pass Radio tonight talking about their recent motorcycle racing wins aboard the GSX-R1000 in the AMA American SuperBike class.
Hayden got his first career victory in March at the Auto Club Speedway, and his teammate Young followed that up with two wins at Road Atlanta in April.
Hayden is currently in second place in the AMA SuperBike class and only four points out of the lead (all three of the top spots are held by Suzuki GSX-R1000 riders).
Hayden has finished on the podium in five out of six races so far this season and has his sights set on taking his GSX-R1000 to the front of the pack for the rest of the year. Hayden is one of the most consistent racers on the track, and his bike gives him the confidence to push the limits.
Young is coming off of a spectacular weekend at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, where he earned every possible point. Young earned the pole position, led the most laps, and won his first-ever SuperBike race on Saturday at Road Atlanta and followed it up with another win on Sunday.
Young is currently third in points in the motorcycle racing series and is looking to take his GSX-R1000 to the podium for the rest of the season.
