Moto Helmet and Jacket

Looking to go incognito? Forget about it! Icon’s Crossbone Racer motorcycle helmet and jacket are designed to turn heads and attract attention.

The fiberglass/carbon fiber Airframe helmet’s fit is on the plush side of comfort, with a moisture wicking liner, and closeable vents to flow air when needed. Special formula paint results in a flat finish with a slightly rubberized surface, less susceptible to scratches; ironically, the faux scuffmarks suggest a life of hard knocks. Fit is a very personal thing, and the Airframe is the most comfortable helmet in my well-stocked riding closet.

A bold red 7 across the back of the Hella jacket labels you lucky (a black 13 version is also available), while elbow and shoulder armor, as well as a foam back pad, provide removable backup. Buckles at the hips allow a custom fit of the obdurate leather. Thoughtful details include shoulder vents, a skull zipper pull easily manipulated by a gloved hand, a flattering drop tail, and placket stitching stating the obvious: Hell Bent Heaven Sent.
