FIM Junior Motocross World Championship
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has assembled a team of the best youth motocross racers in the world to represent the United States at the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Junior Motocross Championships in Cingoli, Italy, on Aug. 13-14. The U.S. team will defend the World Championship it won last year in France.
Part of a long-term strategy to transfer the majority of Yamaha’s ATV manufacturing to the United States by 2013, the Japanese motorcycle marquee reported Wednesday that the first production run of ATVs will occur this month in the company’s "state of the art" factory in Newnan, Ga.
