Unquestionably the world’s biggest stage for extreme sports X Games 15 was the site for another Husqvarna triumph as 2008 S2 World Supermoto Champion Adrien Chareyre piloted a stock Husqvarna SM450 RR to the podium in Supermoto X competition.
"Husqvarna has had an amazing three weeks… Adrien’s X Games 15 medal is the perfect exclamation point," says Husqvarna Motorcycles North America National Sales & Marketing Manager Scot Harden.
The 2008 S2 World Supermoto Champion Adrien Chareyre has confirmed he will be racing X Games 15 at the Home Depot Center this weekend. Piloting a CH Racing factory Husqvarna SM450 RR, look for the Anduze, France-based champ to be a major factor going for the X Games Gold!
"This is a great opportunity to showcase two champions: Husqvarna’s SM450 RR and our 2-time World Champion Adrien Chareyre," says Husqvarna Motorcycles North America National Sales & Marketing Manager Scot Harden.
X Games 15 features the return of the most exciting racing on two wheels as the world’s top motorcycle racers will vie for Supermoto Gold. Although race promoter Gavin Trippe gets credit for creating the concept of a hybrid roadracing/motocross competition for the original "Superbikers" race for ABC’s Wide World Of Sports more than 30 years ago, it is the French who have really embraced the concept and have made the sport of "Supermotard" their own in recent years.
